Fine news for you all this morning with the information that the very first UK performance by the reunited Mazzy Star will be as the headline act on the Quietus Village Mentality Stage at Field Day 2012. Field Day takes place in Victoria Park, East London on June 2nd 2012, and will see the main stage headlined by Franz Ferdinand. Joining Mazzy Star, other new act Grimes and the previously-announced R Stevie Moore, Papa M, Tortoise, Rocketnumbernine and a special collaboration of Revere and a legendary artist from across the seas will be one of the Quietus’ favourite discoveries of 2011 – the mighty and punishing Death Grips.
