Interestingly ‘El Sucu Tucu’ begins like a demonic cover of Hot Chip’s ‘One Life Stand’ only with infectious frenzied vocals and an relentless pounding beat. It’s telling that The Visitor took over five years to be recorded all around the globe – in places as far-flung as Buenos Aires, Mexico City, the Paris suburbs, Rionegro in Colombia and Berlin, given the rich mixture of exotic components already audible on ‘El Sucu Tucu’, offering an intriguing glimpse into what else might lie ahead when the full LP is released this summer.
