Three records by Butthole Surfers are to be reissued by Matador later this year.
The label will issue remastered vinyl versions of two studio albums in 1987’s Locust Abortion Technician and 1988’s Hairway To Steven, as well as 1985 EP Cream Corn From The Socket Of Davis, in September, with all three also made available now for streaming. Matador has also shared a live concert film documenting the band’s 1987 performance in Bremen, Germany, which you can watch below.
These latest reissues follow on from the first set – covering studio albums Psychic…Powerless…Another Man’s Sac and Rembrandt Pussyhorse, as well as live LP PCPPEP – which were made available for streaming and on vinyl at the start of this year.
Matador will release Locust Abortion Technician, Hairway To Steven and Cream Corn From The Socket Of Davis on September 20, 2024.
