Massive Attack Preview New Music

Duo's iPhone app shares part of two new songs

Massive Attack are previewing new music via their Fantom iPhone app.

The app, which was co-developed by member Robert Del Naja, was launched at the start of this year and allows the user to create their own versions of the duo’s sounds, acting as a kind of ‘sensory remixer’, taking into account movement, the time of day, location and what is in sight on your phone’s camera.

You can download the app from the App Store if you have an iPhone 5s or above, and check out parts of new tracks from the pair entitled ‘Come Near Me’ and ‘The Spoils’. The app was previously used by the pair to preview material from their Ritual Spirit EP which was released shortly after.
