Next Tuesday, 9th April, Corsica Studios will be playing host Martin Rev, who rose to prominence as one half of NYC proto-punk/synth duo Suicide.
Rev has been an instrumental and hugely influential figure in the development of underground electronic music and post-punk, and his solo work since has plotted points all across the map; we’re promised "a crazy mix of driving rhythms, blistering synths and some serious NYC keyboard attitude." Also playing will be London’s purveyors of righteously intense, menacing and psychedelic rock, Gallon Drunk, and the Quietus’ own Luke Turner will be taking you through on DJ duties, with a mixture of seedy rock and gnarled electronics.
