Mark Stewart To Play Village Underground

Factory Floor support at Shoreditch gig in September

Bristol dub pioneer Mark Stewart is playing a headline show at Village Underground on September 27, with support from Factory Floor. His band will be made up of True Tiger/Submotion Orchestra’s Arkell & Hargreaves, Dan Catsis of Stewart’s The Pop Group and MC Culture.

The gig comes in support of Stewart’s new single, ‘Stereotype’, the second to be taken from his recent The Politics of Envy album. It will be released on September 24, and also features Factory Floor along with PiL guitarist Keith Levene and The Raincoats’ Gina Birch.

For tickets, head to the Village Underground’s site.

In the meantime, find out which albums he picked out for his Baker’s Dozen here.
