Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke have collaborated on a new album, Tall Tales.
Spanning 12 tracks, it is Yorke’s first release with Warp Records and its announcement follows on from the unveiling last month of the track ‘Back In The Game’, which appears on the record. The two artists have previously worked together on the 2016 song ‘Beautiful People’, which appeared on Pritchard’s 2016 solo album for Warp, Under The Sun.
Tall Tales comes with an additional visual element provided by artist Jonathan Zawada, who has designed the album’s artwork and produced the music videos for both ‘Back In The Game’ and new cut ‘This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice’ – you can watch a video for the latter below.
Zawada’s visuals for the songs make up part of a feature-length film that he has developed over the past few years in line with the production of Pritchard and Yorke’s music. To coincide with the album’s launch, there will be special one-night-only screenings of the film in selected cinemas across the world, with more details set to be announced soon.
Warp Records will release Tall Tales on May 9, 2025.
