Marie Davidson has shared a new track with her band L’Œil Nu.
Titled ‘Worst Comes To Worst’, it’s the second song to be unveiled from Renegade Breakdown, the forthcoming album that marks the debut of Davidson’s new band project, alongside long-term collaborators Pierre Guerineau and Asaël R. Robitaille. You can listen to the new track above.
Davidson acts as frontwoman, lyrics-writer and synth player for L’Œil Nu. Renegade Breakdown, and Davidson’s decision to produce and tour her next album as part of a trio, was described previously in a press release as "a reaction to years in which she spent most of her life on the road, navigating the club and festival lifestyle: the airports, the late nights, the lost or damaged gear – often alone."
Ninja Tune will release Renegade Breakdown on September 25, 2020.
