Watch a new film accompanying the release of Kid Millions' latest Man Forever album

Boundary-eroding Oneida drummer Kid Millions further expands his percussion-based explorations with today’s release of Ryonen, his third long-player as Man Forever, via Thrill Jockey. Aided by crack New York drumming team So Percussion, across Ryonen’s two tracks Millions skillfully transforms technically challenging rhythm into meditative, mind’s-eye images of levee-busting watercourses.

The album is accompanied by this short film – which we’re pleased to be able to offer you a stream of – documenting the drummer playing on New York’s subway, in a car, on a plane and in a shipping container. It was inspired by the work of American installation artist and sculptor Chris Burden. Get on Man Forever’s wave here:
