Lush are reissuing their three studio albums, Spooky, Split and Lovelife.
All three records have been specially remastered for the reissue, which will mark the first time that all three albums are officially available as standalone LPs since the ’90s. (A 2016 box set encompassing all three records was released in 2016.) Spooky and Split will both come with original album artwork, while Lovelife‘s cover will use the art from the aforementioned 2016 box set in a bid to maintain the exclusivity of the original pressing’s collectible tracing paper sleeve.
Each album will be pressed on black and clear vinyl, with latter set to be available exclusively via independent record stores and the 4AD online store. Bandboxwill also sell a limited edition bundle of all three albums in exclusive colours, with a fanzine on the band.
The three albums set to be reissued were released across a five-year span between 1991 and 1996 with the band calling it a day on the latter year. They reunited in 2015 to play a run of shows and put out an EP, but disbanded a year later.
4AD will release Spooky, Split and Lovelife on August 11, 2023.
