Lush Announce Reunion

Shoegazers set to play first live shows in almost 20 years

Lush have announced details of their first live show in almost 20 years, reforming to play London’s Roundhouse on May 6.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Wednesday (September 30) and can be purchased here. Further shows will be announced shortly. The show marks the band’s first since September 1996 when they played their last show in Tokyo. “The opportunity and practicalities of reforming Lush meant that 20 years it was an impossible undertaking,” says Miki Berenyi. “But we all loved what we did, and the time is finally right for us to do it again.” Lush were widely recognised as one of the early pioneers of what went on to be known as ‘shoegaze’. 4AD will also release a vinyl reissue of the band’s best of compilation Ciao! in November, followed by a limited edition box set titled Chorus at the beginning of December.
