Luke Slater is overseeing the next instalment in Ostgut Ton’s Berghain mix series.
Slater, who’s a resident at Berghain, will mix the 15th anniversary edition of the series. The release of the mix will kickstart Ostgut Ton’s 15th anniversary celebrations, which will continue through 2020 and include a number of special releases as well as a worldwide tour involving the label’s key artists. Lineups for those dates will remain secret ahead of each event.
Slater’s entry into the series, Berghain Fünfzehn, skips ahead a few slots from Vatican Shadow’s previous entry in the series, Berghain 09, in-keeping with Ostgut Ton’s anniversary. Slater’s mix runs for 130 minutes and is made up of tracks from across Ostgut Ton’s discography, from 2005 until this year, which have been specially reworked by the man himself.
The tracklist for Berghain Fünfzehn is yet to be revealed. In addition to the full digital version of the mix being made available as a free download online, seven exclusive tracks will be released across two 12"s. A release party for the mix will take place at Berghain on April 4. The acts joining Slater for the event are yet to be announced.
Ostgut Ton will release Berghain Fünfzehn on April 3, 2020.
