Alan Sparhawk of LOW has a new solo album on the way.
Spanning nine tracks, With Trampled By Turtles was recorded by Sparhawk in late 2023 alongside long-time friends and fellow Minnesotans, the folk band Trampled By Turtles. Joining the band towards the end of some recording sessions they held at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, he put forward several songs that he had in various stages development.
To mark the album’s announcement, the lead track ‘Stranger’ has been released alongside a video, which you can watch below.
With Trampled By Turtles follows Sparhawk’s 2024 debut solo album, White Roses, My God.
Sub Pop will release With Trampled By Turtles on May 30, 2025.
