Low have announced a new album and shared a video for the LP’s opening three tracks. You can watch the visual for the three tracks – titled ‘Quorum’, ‘Dancing And Blood’ and ‘Fly’ above.
The album, titled Double Negative, sees the group team up with producer B.J. Burton whose previous credits include Bon Iver and Lizzo. It was recorded at Justin Vernon’s April Base studio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which is where the group also recorded their 2015 album Ones And Sixes.
Rather than writing and rehearsing material in their base of Duluth, Minnesota, they would often head southeast to Eau Claire while working on the album, arriving with sketches and ideas that they would work on for days with Burton.
The band have UK tour dates lined up for June and October (including an appearance at London’s Southbank Centre for Robert Smith’s Meltdown festival on June 20). You can find the list of dates here. Double Negative is out on September 14.
