Lorenzo Senni Unveils First Full Release in Five Years, ‘Canone Infinito Xtended’

The seven-track release is billed as an extended accompaniment to 2020 song 'Canone Infinito'

Lorenzo Senni has shared his first full release in five years, a seven-track project titled Canone Infinito Xtended.

Billed as an extended accompaniment to Senni’s 2020 song ‘Canone Infinito’, which appeared on his album Scacco Matto, the new release explores the “tension between minimalism and maximalist expression,” according to a press release.

It was previously premiered in a live setting at Milan’s Auditorium San Fedele, with the show set to be built on in a series of live dates scheduled for later this year. Senni is also set to release further new work later in 2025, according to label Warp Records.
