Loop and Godflesh have announced a set of of co-headline shows this summer, taking in dates in Glasgow, Leeds and two nights in London in early June. They will follow Loop’s set at Roadburn and tour of the US in April and May and are bookended by festival appearances at Primavera Sound, Optimus Primavera Sound and Villette Sonique 2014. Says Loop’s Robert Hampson: "Brothers in arms, kindred spirits… call it what you will. There was always a bond and forever shall remain one. Loop and Godflesh back together, where they belong." The dates may also follow the release of Godflesh’s new album, currently titled A World Lit Only By Fire and slated for a May release. They will also see Heads and kandodo man Wayne Maskell filling in on drums for Loop, following the departure of original drummer John Wills to concentrate on his Pumajaw project.
