London Promoter The Cause To Take Over Peckham Pub The Greyhound

The venue, which soft launches this week, will occasionally host gigs and other music events

The team behind London venues The Cause and All My Friends are taking over a pub in South London.

The Greyhound, on Peckham High Street, has been closed for an extended period while it has undergone renovation ready for a relaunch with its new operators at the helm. It will reopen as a two-floor pub and restaurant this Friday (March 8).

The space has been fitted with a DI Audio sound system, and will host gigs and other music events, as well as zine fairs and markets. Music programming will be controlled by The Cause’s team, with a heavy focus on DJs and collectives associated with Peckham-based projects such as Rye Wax and Balamii.

The Greyhound will be open six days a week, and has a 1.30am closing time on its license. It has a capacity of 240 people across its two floors and outdoor area.

You can find out more about the new space via its website.
