Legowelt, Neville Watson and Kris Wadsworth among those appearing at April music conference

The London Electronic Music Event (LEME) is back this year, playing host to a range of events with artists, labels and promoters at Rich Mix in Shoreditch over the weekend of April 12-13. Highlights include Legowelt playing live and taking part in a Q&A hosted by CDR founder Tony Nwachukwu; acid house man and author of Ravin ’89 Neville Watson, who’ll be bringing some of his extensive hardware collection to talk about production; Detroit via Berlin veteran Kris Wadsworth talking about making a living as a DJ/producer and Andy Peyton from XOYO and George Hull from BLOC on running club nights.

UPDATE – February 26: Theo Parrish is set for a keynote speech, while Kirk Degiorgio will be hosting an ‘in the studio’ event, Red D of house duo FCL are joining Watson’s talk titled "What is Underground And Does It Matter?" and Mr Beatnik will head a session, "The Art of Sampling".

Head to LEME’s website for full details and tickets; in the meantime, have a listen to clips of Legowelt’s forthcoming new album Crystal Cult 2080:
