MENT, the Ljubljana festival and music conference, has shared the full programme for its 2023 edition, taking place later this month.
Bringing together a number of experimental music artists from across Europe, the festival will this year welcome Warp Records signees Wu-Lu; Polish composer Wojciech Rusin; South London synth-pop trio PVA; Latvian indie dance duo Bel Tempo; Italian post-rockers LAZZARETTO; jazz metal duo O.; Estonian noise rock band Zahir; and Amsterdam indie quarter Global Charming, among many others.
A number of Slovenian acts will also play at the event, including algorave artist Luka Prinčič; folk collective Gugutke; ambient producer X.U.L.; and experimental folk trio Kačis. You can get to know a number of these artists via MENT’s specialist playlists.
In addition to the music programme, MENT takes in a conference of speakers and panels, with a full-day programme set to be dedicated to highlighting the music scenes of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. There will also be interviews with the founder of German independent label City Slang, Christof Ellinghaus, as well as legendary Slovenian promoter Igor Vidmar and Elena Natale, founder of Tallinn’s HALL club, which is at the centre of the Baltic electronic music scene.
MENT Ljubljana will take place from March 29 to 31, 2023. Find more information here.
