Liverpool Sound City Announces 2019 Return

Liverpool's Sound City festival, which returned to the inner-city this year, will be back for another round next May

Liverpool music and arts festival Sound City will be back in 2019. The festival, which takes place in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle disctrict, will return from May 3-5.

Applications are also open for Sound City’s Korea Initiative, which gives artists funding to attend Seoul industry showcases Zandari Fest and MU:CON. Artists can <a href="https://form.jotformeu.com/61935061241348" target=“out">apply until 27 July.

2018’s Sound City, which took place in May, saw performances by Idles, Black Honey, Wye Oak and more. Sound City festival and its attached music conference, Sound City +, became recipients of Arts Council England funding in 2018.
