A number of new acts have been added to the bill for this year’s Liverpool Psych Fest, with a stage hosted by California label Castle Face Records amongst the additions.
Marking the label’s first ever curated stage at a festival, there will be sets from Once & Future Band, Sunwatchers, Male Gaze and Magnetix & DUDS.
Elsewhere’s, there’s a rare UK appearance from Sweden’s Träd, Gräs Och Stenar, and a collaboration between ’70s Zambian psyche group Witch and Jacco Gardner. The Bug vs Dylan Carlson of Earth, Jane Weaver, The Telescopes, Il Sogno Del Marinaio, Gnod, The Holydrug Couple, Fujiya & Miyagi, Cosmonauts, Patten, Krautwerk and Endless Boogie round out the recent wave of live additions, while Andy Votel and Steve Davis & Kavus Torabi will DJ.
They all join previously announced headliners The Black Angels and Songhoy Blues, plus lots more at the festival, which takes place at Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle from September 22-23.
