Listen up, ye psychonauts: the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia have now put day tickets on sale. Friday 26 September will be on sale for £25 and Saturday 27 for £30, with weekend passes going for £50. Head to the festival’s website to get hold of tickets and watch a trailer below.
In addition, there are two sterling additions to the bill of fare. One is Dan Tombs, the ace visual artist who’s worked with a roster of tQ favourites including East India Youth, Factory Floor and Tim Burgess, presenting a new installation, "which fuses elements of his practice with an exploration of the somewhat idiosyncratic, local v global tension at the heart of today’s psychedelic renaissance". As well as that, there’ll be Newcastle’s fine TUSK Festival presenting their "carefully assembled programme of big-screen psychedelic wonders", ahead of their own three-dayer in October.
