Yeah You is a new father/daughter duo hailing from Newcastle and their debut release for Slip Records comes in the form of Id Vendor, whicb is streaming above in full.
The six-track release, which is available in CD, cassette and digital download formats, sees Mykl Jaxn and Elvin Brandhi cutting up abrasive vocals with distorted synths and snappy drums, the recordings "culled from sessions crammed into weekly drives to yoga, idle moments in the trolley park of Tesco Bridgend, and a late-night wander in Brussels."
It’s delightfully odd and certainly makes for one of the year’s most eye-catching listens so far. You can purchase the record directly from the Slip label here.
