Vessel, aka Seb Gainsborough, has signed to Tri Angle for his debut album, due later this year. Gainsborough part of a new generation of Bristol producers making exciting, entirely genreless electronic music. His first release for Left Blank was a house-leaning affair, and more recent material has found him shifting between dancefloor material and more muddy semi-ambience with unusual ease. Gainsborough contributed an excellent mix to the Quietus to accompany our interview mid-last year, which showed the same open-minded approach to mixing and genre as his own music.
