The Quietus favourites The Soft Moon have a new album on the way: Zeros (artwork above) is out on November 5 via Captured Tracks, and here’s ‘Die Life’, a sneak preview of what to expect for you to download and enjoy:
Luis Vasquez recorded the new album on the road between tour dates, rather than in the isolation of his Oakland apartment, as was the case with the self-titled debut, and tweaked it with San Franciscan producer/engineer Monte Vallier for extra screaming and beating.
The Soft Moon are playing a few dates in England after the album’s release in November, with support from Dracula Lewis, a tour which comes with our full recommendation:
