Supersonic Festival returns to Birmingham in just two weeks complete with a line-up that includes Holly Herndon, Gazelle Twin, Liturgy and The Bug vs Dylan Carlson. Also on the line-up is Richard Dawson and, above, you can listen to a special edition of his Delight Is Right podcast, ahead of the festival, featuring music and chat from the man himself.
Dawson will be curating an afternoon at Supersonic themed around the podcast series and featuring a selection of rare UK performances handpicked by the man himself. Among those joining him are Afework Nigussie, Jiří Wehle, Angharad Davies, Rhodri Davies and folk narrator Phil Tyler. Capacity for this specific event is limited to 300 and only open to ticket holders with passes for all three days of this year’s festival. Supersonic Festival takes place across a number of venues around Birmingham from June 11-14. Weekend tickets are on sale now at £60, as well as individual day tickets.
