So earlier today we brought you a remix of Peaking Lights by Quietus favourites Patten. Now, we’re giving Patten a tweak thanks to this excellent remix by industrial soulboy Dave ID. Via the Soundcloud below he gives Patten’s ‘Out The Coast’ a clattering, rattling, oil rig disintegrating in #HurricaneBawbag treatment. This is all excellent opportunity to remind you that Dave ID will be playing at the Quietus afterdo for Independent Label Market on Saturday night. The market will be happening at Spitalfields during the day, with those labels who lost out in the PIAS fire on hand to sell their wares to festive shoppers. Angular Records promise mince pies, and Aidan Moffat will be on hand to man the Chemikal Underground stall – some top rare Arab Strap vinyl will be on offer. Check the Quietus tomorrow for a full list and Spotify playlist of the available rarities and record labels involved. Go to the ILM website to read an interview with Market founder Joe Daniel. He promises an MP3 slot machine.
