LISTEN: New Wrangler

Trio of Stephen Mallinder, Benge and Phil Winter share single from forthcoming second album; check it out below

Wrangler is the collective outfit of Stephen Mallinder, Benge and Phil Winter, and they have been working together since the release of their debut album in early 2014.

They’re now gearing up for the release of their second album, White Glue, later this year and, above, we are giving you the chance to exclusively check out single ‘Stupid’ taken from the album.

The track does what fans of the trio might hope for and follows nicely on from what the sounds they have been pursuing in their respective careers over the year. It is out on September 9 on MemeTune Recordings, while the album is out on September 23.

The album was recorded at Benge’s MemeTune studios and sees them put to use a number of ancient analogue synths from the studio, all led as ever by Mallinder’s distinctive vocal.

You can pre-order White Glue here.
