Soundway are set to release the debut album from London’s Vanishing Twin this Friday (September 30) and it’s streaming above right now ahead of its release.
The group formed last year with founder Cathy Lucas following up a series of releases as Orlando with the creation of the project and naming the group after her vanishing twin, an identical sister who was absorbed in utero, when the two were just a set of cells.
The group began work on the album, entitled Choose Your Own Adventure, last spring at the London studio of producer Malcolm Catto, choosing to blend pop song structures with an eye for improvisation to devise the album’s nine tracks. The band will tour the UK later this year with dates to be announced soon but for now, you can enjoy the album.
