Pye Corner Audio will contribute to the next instalment of Ghost Box’s ‘Other Voices’ series with a two-track release that features Belbury Poly on the B side. You can listen to the synth-led electronics of the A side, entitled ‘Machines Are Obsolete’, above.
This marks the fifth edition of the ‘Other Voices’ strand with previous contributions coming from Steve Moore, The Pattern Forms, Listening Center and Brooks and O’Hagan. Ghost Box will release the tracks this Friday (June 5) and you can pre-order the 7" EP here. Up next for Ghost Box are two back catalogue re-issues of The Advisory Circle’s Other Channels and Mount Vernon Arts Lab’s Seance at Hobs Lane, both of which have been remastered for their first release on vinyl. Full details of those will be announced shortly with a release date set for June 12.
