LISTEN: Stream Paper Dollhouse’s New Album

Astrud Steedhouder's ongoing electronic project returns with second album; stream it in full below

Earlier this month, we premiered the video for Paper Dollhouse’s ‘Helios’, a track taken from the duo’s forthcoming album, Aeonflower. Now, ahead of its release, on Monday, you can stream the full album itself above.

Paper Dollhouse is the project of electronic/folk musician Astrud Steedhouder and visual artist Nina Bosnic. The album follows on from the group’s 2011 debut, A Box Painted Black, and is billed as taking it "into darker, murkier and more thrilling territory" teaming Steedhouder’s haunting vocals with moments of ambience and menacing electronics. Aeonflower will be available from Monday, March 2, via Bird/Finders Keepers and Night School Records, in the usual digital and LP formats, as well as a limited cassette edition. The duo will host a launch party for the album at Dalston’s Power Lunches on March 11 – the details for that are here. Finally, you can pre-order Aeonflower, in LP form, here.
