Beloved producer and DJ shares new release on Electric Minds label ahead of playing their final party on NYE; check it out below

Much-respected DJ and producer Move D has built up an impressive discography with a number of record labels across the last couple of decades, cutting between disco-inflected house, peak-time techno and the ambient excursions of his work alongside Pete Namlook going back as far as the 1990s.

2017 will see the release of a new two-track record from the producer with the Electric Minds label which you can find above, its tracks bursting with the potential to light up dance floors – one of which provides a live update of his 2013 anthem ‘To The Disco ’77’ stripping it back to a spindly, funk-filled club cut. The record is vinyl only and out in February marking the final release on the label.

Electric Minds, having spent the last decade putting on a series of excellent parties in London and beyond, will wind up their event proceedings too on New Year’s Eve with one final special party at London’s Corsica Studios headlined by Move D himself and also featuring sets from Mr Ties, resident Dolan Bergin and Hesseltime.
