After recently announcing a new album, their first in three years, Micachu and the Shapes have shared a new track from the album, which you can check out above.
The track, entitled ‘Sad’, opens the album and follows the first track to be unveiled from it, ‘Oh Baby’. Much like ‘Oh Baby’, the track will not disappoint those accustomed to Mica Levi and co’s charm-filled oddities, its two minutes built around a simple drum loop. The album, Good Sad Happy Bad, is out on September 11 via Rough Trade and was apparently produced from initial sessions of impromptu jams across several hours.
