The truly unique Melt Yourself Down have returned. The group that, according to saxophonist Pete Wareham, aim to produce “Nubian party punk”, are unleashing another LP of their maniacal sounds and you can listen to it above right now.
The new album is released this Friday (April 29) on the Leaf label, and as the name, Last Evenings on Earth, suggests, it’s apocalyptic in tone. Although darker and denser than the band have ever been before, fortunately, it’s still danceable, and wild enough to make the end of the world sound like a death-disco of epic proportions.
