Gold Panda has signed to City Slang for his new album, Good Luck And Do Your Best. Above, you can check out the video for lead track ’Time Eater’.
The album is the producer’s third and was initially planned to be entirely different. Inspired by one of many past trips to Japan, the album’s title is taken from words imparted to the producer by a Japanese taxi driver. The album features post-production work from Luke Abbott also. “It has a homely feel,” says the producer of the album. “The tracks were made at home and they were mixed at Luke’s studio, so throughout the process, there’s always been access to family and your local surroundings.” Good Luck And Do Your Best is out on May 27. Gold Panda is set to play London’s Tuffnell Park Dome on May 30 and Field Day on June 11.
