At the end of the month, both Mamuthones and Giant Swan will separately play Liverpool Psych Fest which takes place across multiple venues in the city. Ahead of that though, they’ve come together on a remix by Giant Swan of Mamuthones’ ’Symphony For The Devil’ – you can listen to it above.
The track, which will be released by Rocket Recordings as part of an EP featuring the original and another track from Mamuthones on September 25, is extended out into eight minutes of drone-filled, dub-inflected reverb and guitars by the Howling Owl signees. This new release marks Mamuthones’ second with Rocket following a split EP with Evil Blizzard last year. You can pre-order a physical or digital copy here.
