American psychedelic jam band Carlton Melton and kandodo 3, a project of The Heads’ singer/guitarist Simon Price, are teaming up for a split 12" release later this month and all nine minutes of the former’s ‘Footprints’, one of three tracks contributed by the band, is available for you to stream above.
The 12" will be issued via new label Creepy Crawl on February 23 and will feature one track from kandodo 3 on the opposite side, accompanied by sleeve art by Price himself. The tracks will all be pressed on transparent blue vinyl. The kandodo 3 project sees Price extend his solo kandodo project to include fellow Heads members Wayne Maskell and Hugo Morgan. In other news, Price will play a kandodo show at Roadburn festival in the Netherlands which takes place from April 9-12. Meanwhile, you can pre-order Carlton Melton and kandodo 3’s new EP here.
