Polish duo BNNT, have announced the details of their new album Multiverse, to be released on the ever-brilliant Instant Classic label this autumn. Above, you can watch the video for the first single ‘The Last Illiterate’, which features Mats Gustafsson.
The group, whose work spans visual art, theatre and more, have based the new work on lengthy improvisations rooted in tribal drumming, as well as taking inspiration from the Romanian philosopher Emil Cioran.
At the core of BNNT is Konrad Smoleński and Daniel Szwed, with the album featuring guest appearances from Mats Gustafsson and Stine Janvin Motland.
It’s been half a decade since their last material together, their first release since QASSAM in 2012. "I wouldn’t say we took 5-year long vacations from BNNT," says Smoleński. "Of course our pace appears to be a little slow but keep in mind we performed a number of times during those years and switched a couple of languages."
