Apostille is the solo project of Glaswegian musician and Night School Records head Michael Kasparis who will release his debut album, Powerless, under the guise in April, via Night School. Streaming above is a track taken from that album, titled ‘Good Man’.
Initially another creative outlet for his groups Please and The Lowest Form, Apostille has grown into a larger beast with Kasparis now unleashing his first album proper under the name. Apostille’s intention is "to bridge the gap between audience and performer, to connect through the fog of power structures and post-modernism; to ferment a direct pop music unconcerned with control". Influences of Suicide and Depeche Mode are also put forward as background to Kasparis’ work on Powerless. The album follows last year’s Perpetual Dirt release and 2012’s Road To War/Wrong 7" EP, his last release on Night School using the Apostille guise.
