With a new album due for release very shortly, Andrew Weatherall has shared ‘We Count The Stars’ and you can listen to it above right now.
‘We Count The Stars’ is a moody cut taking in warped brass instrumentation and deadpan vocals over seven minutes. His first solo album since 2009, Convenanza came out of early studio sessions with Nina Walsh of the Sabrettes and is described as “the sound of Andrew Weatherall looking back at the clutter of a life thoroughly lived and realising it’s too late to tidy it up in any meaningful way.” The album is out on February 26 via Rotters Golf Club.
