Brooklyn-based electronic duo Mountains are set to release a new album, Centralia, on January 21 via Thrill Jockey, and we’ve got an early play of the LP’s closing track, a densely-constructed, slowburn synthscape:
The first people to order the album via Thrill Jockey or Boomkat will get a bonus CD of unedited live material recorded at the band’s set in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this year, which features both early versions of Centralia material and some improvised cuts. There are only 300 copies of this, though, which each come with a unique cover, hand-stamped by the band themselves, so be swift if you fancy one.
