As we announced last year, Duluth Minnesota trio Low are set to release a new album, their ninth studio LP, on March 18th. Entitled The Invisible Way, it’s the follow-up to 2011’s C’Mon, was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and will be released through Low’s long-running label Sub Pop.
The album’s songs, according to Low frontman Alan Sparhawk, are about “intimacy, the drug war, the class war, plain old war war, archaeology and love”.
Now Sub Pop have released more album details, including the first song from the new album for your listening enjoyment, entitled ‘Just Make It Stop’. It’s a rather jaunty and upbeat thing, especially by Low’s standards, sung entirely by Mimi Parker. Listen via the widget below.
