Norway’s space-disco kingpins Lindstrøm and Todd Terje have announced that they will be partnering for a series of European festival sets this year. Sonar, Melt!, Nuits Sonores and A Day At The Park are all confirmed, and to celebrate the news, the duo have released a new collaborative cut via Terje’s Olsen Records label – have a listen to ‘Lanzarote’ below:
We’re told that the song is "an ode to package tourism and cheeky holiday destinations", though whether gently-pulsing synth stabs and toppling cosmic arpeggios form the best paean to Club 18-30 is hard to say; either way, it’s a mighty fine piece of work, and all the more reason to get excited about those festival dates.
