Stream whole new LP in full

Liars are set to play at Field Day this coming Saturday 2nd June at Victoria Park. As fully signed-up fans here at the Quietus, we’re needless to say very excited at the prospect, especially with new album WIXIW so skillfully channeling their sound down subtly pop-friendly avenues. In advance of its release through Mute next week, you can stream the entire LP over at Pitchfork now.

Speaking to the Quietus earlier this month, Liars’ Angus Andrew said of the LP: "Even though we’d dived into this electronic world, in the end the final result is something that’s not too far from where we were when we began. I think that’s normally considered to be a negative result – that you’ve toiled and persevered, and then find yourself at square one. To me, it’s really positive. It gives me a nice sense that we know what we like." To read Liars’ full guide to WIXIW, and have some nice accompaniment while you listen, click here.
