Laurel Halo’s on a good run of form at the moment, with her upcoming Quarantine album pairing new levels of textural depth with some lovely songwriting. She’s also remixed the new single by former Vex’d man Kuedo, ‘Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space’, which has been gracing the Quietus’ headphones for a couple of weeks now and is set for release imminently through Planet Mu. Squashing the bombast of the (also very good) original into a compact four minutes, its muted colours and fractured violins are in keeping with the productions on Quarantine, and give some idea of what to expect come its release. Dummy Mag are currently streaming the track – you can read more about it at their site or listen via the embed below.
Watch out for more on Quarantine on the site in the coming weeks, and for more on Kuedo read our in-depth interview with him from around the time of last year’s Severant EP.
