Kate Bush has announced the release of a new album, 50 Words For Snow, on 21st November. In advance of the album its first single, ‘Wild Man’, will be released on 11th October, and you can listen below.
Appropriately given the album’s general theme, ‘Wild Man’ is all about the Yeti: its first line consists of Nepalese words for the abominable snowman. Kangchenjunga, also referenced, is the third highest mountain in the world, and is situated in the Himalayas.
The track’s guest singer is Andy Fairweather Low from Amen Corner. Other guests on the album include Stephen Fry and Elton John, and all its songs are loosely linked by a theme of snow.
The album’s full tracklist is as follows:
‘Snowflake’
‘Lake Tahoe’
‘Misty’
‘Wildman’
‘Snowed In At Wheeler Street’
’50 Words For Snow’
‘Among Angels’
