LISTEN: Joker In N-Dubzstep Shock!

New album fusion sensation

The much talked about mutational properties of bass music have struck again! Recent 4AD signing Joker has pushed dubstep into hitherto new and unimaginable shapes on his new album The Vision.

Stuck for inspiration for the opening track on his new album ‘Slaughterhouse (Here Come The Lights)’ the producer went down to Alton Towers to have a go on the Corkscrew but ended up talking sharing a spliff with a group of youths he met at the back of the Twirling Toadstool.

Over a single skinner loosely peppered with soap bar, Joker, Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer came up with a new direction for UK urban music that would be known as N-Dubzstep.

Initial reactions to ‘Slaughterhouse’ have been positive and bookings for the Radio One Roadshow in Scarborough and Bridlington as well as Butlins in Hastings have already come in.
