For Record Store Day, the Leaf Label are releasing a limited edition 7" containing two tracks from Jherek Bischoff’s upcoming album Composed. Bischoff is a composer, producer, performer and songwriter who’s previously worked with the likes of Xiu Xio, Amanda Palmer and Degenerate Art Ensemble, and the album itself contains collaborations from a weighty list of contributors: Greg Saunier (Deerhoof), Craig Wedren (Shudder To Think), Carla Bozulich (Evangelista) and Nels Cline (Wilco), amongst others. Oh, and there’s the small matter of David Byrne guesting on ‘Eyes’, one of the tracks from Bischoff’s Record Store Day 7". You can stream ‘Eyes’, along with ‘Young & Lovely’ – a duet with Parenthetical Girls’ Zac Pennington and French singer Soko – via the embed below.
