Chris Jeffs aka Cylob is soon set to release a new 7-track EP, Inflatable Hope, compiled from "over 100 ideas, sketches and demos" by Power Vacuum label owner Bintus. Made between 2007 and 2014, these seven tracks shuffle and squelch away at a furious rate. You can listen to ‘Granular Psychosis (Ect Mix)’ above now.
If the above sounds informed by Aphex Twin, that’s no coincidence; Cyclob has released thirteen singles and five albums on Richard D. James’ Rephlex Records. Says Bintus on compiling the material for his label, "I felt quite privileged to be able to listen to this music and select what i thought were the best tracks for Power Vacuum." Though the final track order of the EP remains in flux, Inflatable Hope will be available on 12" and digitally from June 23.
