Allen changes her professional name to Lily Rose Cooper; heads into studio to start work on third album

Lily Allen has changed her professional name to married name Lily Rose Cooper and is set to start recording new material.

Rose Cooper married her husband Sam Cooper, who runs a building company, in June last year, and they have since had a baby girl, Ethel Mary, with another child on the way.

She recently Tweeted that she is working on new songs and has since booked studio time to develop these further. While there are currently no release dates for the new material, it will be her first album since 2009’s It’s Not Me, It’s You.

Rose Cooper today said: "It’s great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music. I’m excited to be heading back into the studio."
